Hi Carolyn, I lurk here often but rarely comment, don't like to display my ignorance too often. I know you guys tend to use TA to find the best buy/short situations and you don't often seem to pay attention to news releases. That's fine but I thought I would point out another point of view for you to consider when looking at 3COM. After reading your post I checked the recent movement of COMS. Wow, what a drop in price. Why? I found this article that mentioned one person's point of view. If you care to look, it's in the 14th paragraph and again is only one person's view and doesn't provide any support for it. fnews.yahoo.com Quote "Do we discover that 3COM is getting its clocked clean by Cisco and that's good for Cisco? (Again how I am betting.)" By James J. Cramer He apparently thinks CISCO is now or soon will be taking a lot of 3COM business away from them. I hope you don't take this note wrong. I admire your methods and will continue to monitor this thread, I'm slowly learning some good lessons from you and others here. I believe this will eventually help me time my entry and exit points better than before. After I spent the time putting this note together I asked myself, is Carolyn already aware of everything behind the price drop and have I wasted my time mentioning this?
