Yep and that ad seems to run day and night. Etrade advertising on the superbowl? In July I was flooded with cold calls from brokerages, now Peter Lynch has become a media figure and Alan Greenspan and team is on the cover of Time. The U.S. economy and market is Custer's last stand and my money is on Geronimo -g- With the CRB at below 1933 levels and Americans savings rate at the same, i wud say we are in deep duuuuuuuu! In 1997 the reason for increasing prices in equities was the flourishing of the worldwide capitalism and the goldilocks worldwide economy, now the reason for equities to increase, is because they have always increased in our short term memories. The next wave down in the us equity bear market that started in April 1998, will be cruel and punishing, if you are a member of the herd. bb
