Thanks for the input. I just tried what they said to do and it keeps giving me an error for trying to divide by zero. I opened the combined Advance with volume divided by Decliners with volume composite I created as they said to do. Opened formula builder and created C/V naming it "MY TRIN" But if I try to use it on an index, I get a host of error messages stating I am trying to divide by zero. I guess I will go read through the MetaStock thread and see what I need to do. I have a feeling I need to either designate the formula to use the data in that composite or else open that "My TRIN" chart and then open whatever index along side and drag the wave into the index chart. (what a pain) It must be trying to use whatever index's data to do the computations instead of the A/D data. Thanks again, At least now I am started in the right direction. If anything, I can link this data into my excel spreadsheet and keep going like I am but I would like to have it displayed on the same chart. You also never told me which charts to convert to Black and White for you. Lee
