for some reason you didn't follow what i was saying....i know msft owns 50% of msnbc, hence the name msnbc..what i was saying is if you can't beat them put collect a royalty...i believe they get some arrangement for being on the desktop, such as the integrated browser on aol....they would still love to have more subscriners than aol,but there not even on the map...give me evidence they aren't trying to beat aol at their game like they do everyone else...I believe they are trying but loosing...msft is not invincable...they loose a lot of battles, they just win a lot also...example...in the audio/streamoing market....on every single version of win 95 and 98 a microsoft media player is installed, yet they have about a 3% markwet share...realnetworks(rnwk) has an 85% market share...that is a space they would have loved to dominate yet they are getting their butt kicked.....aol is doing the same to them...
