*AV*--Thank you so much for this data. I am in your debt.
I am using this reply and spacing down twice as a means of publishing a list of stocks right now that I believe will perform well as we turn out of this little market set back. I hope you see it soon enough to evaluate and consider. None will make any of us rich quick but do reppresent quality. We need to see how the market reacts tomorrow. The list appears in 3 groups. I would also like to group these stocks together. Group 1 has the highest probability of success in the short term. All groups are in order of preference.
ADPT-LRCX-UTEK-IDTI-PLAB-NETC-SVGI AMAT-CFMT-CYMI-ONTK-GGNS CRUS-CHPS-IOM-ATML-NSCP-GGNS
This list represents those stocks that stand a good chance of the best recovery from today's little mishap and does not represent which stocks will be good or exceptional performers over the long haul. This is a close to a short term pick as I can get. In the long term, all will prosper.
If you do not see a stock like WFR or ALYD on this list, it is because these 2 stocks as well as others, have remained stable through today's misery and will either hold their own or move as expected. My portfolio is going to shift to take advantage of some of these short term bargains.
For instance, as pointed out to Jeff, PLAB was sold at $38 and a bid of $33 or better will go on the table tomorrow. If it fills, I will own ~ 15% more shares for the same $$$$ I received when I cashed out of PLAB last week. Even if PLAB retreats more, I will own 15% more shares when it recovers back to 38 or above. This is how I am growing the portfolio. I took profits on most of SVGI and all of AMAT, PLAB and LRCX. I will be watching them very close and will re-establish larger positions than before. NETC was sold at a 15% profit to acquire more BYDS but with the recent minor profits in BYDS, I may transfer some back into NETC.
If anyone wants the miracle stocks and wants to back me in a corner, ADPT is the one for the fastest 10-15%. |
