Lee, I think first you need to create a new chart from the
composite security - advances (w vol)/declines(w vol)

This composite is the security. Drag the c/v formula so that it
appears in the inner window above.

Then open the index you want to use. Tile the two charts. Then
drag the trin plot down into the index chart. Close the composite
a-d chart. Save the index and trin chart as a .mwc chart.

I usually make sure that I initially load an equal number of days for the composite security and the index, like 100, when first creating the combination.
