>>Does Imation have great Management or what? When was the last time Iomega announced a stock buyback? When was the last time Iomega Corp. voted any kind of confidence in their own stock? When was the last time Iomega displayed any sort of concern for their investors by buying back shares?<<

This is an interesting paragraph. I wish I had the patience to look through the posts on the "Any Info?" thread from a couple of years back. I distinctly remember one Rocky Reid talking about what lousy management Iomega had. The proof was that they had announced a stock buyback. I remember Rocky's words, although not verbatim I'm sure. He said something like, "There are many reasons why a company does a stock buyback, all of them bad."

BTW, Ricky, the analysts were looking for $.10 from Imation for THIS quarter (Q1 1999) like Darrel said. Imation management announced that they would be coming in shy of the estimates for Q1. That's LAST quarter. You need to read a bit more carefully. Perhaps if you took your black-tinted, Anti-Iomega glasses off you'd be able to see better.
