Does anyone know if the below deal from 1997 still exist...
Followed by info about the company FSVP

FIND/SVP's Emerging Technologies Research Group was founded by Thomas E. Miller who will serve as vice president of Cyber Dialogue Inc. The group developed a series of innovative, twice-yearly studies of user demand for interactive products and services, culminating in The American Internet User Survey. Fielded since 1995, this survey has become the industry benchmark on Internet user adoption, online content and service usage, electronic commerce and Internet advertising and marketing trends. The survey will continue under the "cyberdialogue/findsvp" brand name. In addition, the U.S. Small Business Internet Survey, currently in the field, will be delivered under the new co-branded name.

FIND/SVP also offers a primary research-based continuous advisory service entitled "The Internet Consumer," which will continue to function in an enhanced form under Cyber Dialogue. The service is headed by Peter C. Clemente, who will serve as vice president of Cyber Dialogue Inc.

Under terms of the deal, future research will have full access to established FIND/SVP, Cyber Dialogue, and Yankelovich databases, including the 27-year longitudinal data of The Yankelovich Monitor. This data will be used to deliver products and services to companies in need of more in-depth understanding of online trends and the behaviors, needs, and interests of Internet users.

The new research operation plans to deliver benefits in four key areas: Internet User Market Segmentation. More advanced market segmentation is critical now that the Internet has reached its current size. Backed by the extensive research skills of Yankelovich Partners, future cyberdialogue/findsvp research will focus heavily on differentiating Internet users based on behavioral and psychographic factors, business usage vs. consumer usage, and real-time Web site tracking.
Online Tracking and Analysis. Cyber Dialogue was the first online panel operator in the field. The company has assisted hundreds of leading online/Web providers evaluate and improve their Web sites by applying advanced real-time tracking techniques, coupled with online panel interviews. Going forward, these capabilities will be made available on a custom research basis as well as in forms linked to random telephone sampling data.
Internet Trend Forecasting. The new research team plans to offer enhanced Internet demand forecasting services based on models that combine the FIND/SVP emerging technology survey trendlines with the long-term consumer trending data of The Yankelovich Monitor.
Expert Point of View. The new cyberdialogue/findsvp research team combines extensive experience analyzing both conventional consumer trends and new media trends, all keyed to primary research. The companies believe that this expertise will ultimately yield a higher level of analyses for its clients.
In addition, the acquisition will allow Cyber Dialogue to enhance its Telescope line of Web server software. This interactive decision support software integrates survey-based consumer database information with real-time online tracking data to enable electronic providers to target their Web site visitors better on a one-to-one basis.

"We are pleased to enter into this new relationship with Cyber Dialogue," said Andrew P. Garvin, President and CEO of FIND/SVP. "Our company has many Internet-related initiatives, but it is clear that our Emerging Technologies Research Group can thrive better under Cyber Dialogue's business model, which revolves entirely around interactive marketing research and decision support services." Garvin added that FIND/SVP will receive some royalties on future sales under the new arrangement.

"We're excited about this new stage in the growth of Cyber Dialogue," said Mark Esiri, CEO of Cyber Dialogue. "FIND/SVP's established reputation in providing high quality syndicated Internet research on consumers and small businesses provides us with a solid foundation on which to further build our equally high quality custom online research and interactive marketing decision support capabilities."
