Update on my Etrade problem:

I posted a few days ago about an issue with Etrade where my account was granted 800,000K worth of AMTD short with 14K in equity. (Full des. is in a link above.) Well, I sent a few emails to Etrade over the weekend (not to support@etrade.com but to actual executives there) and have been contacted by their director of marketing as well as someone high up in their margin department. Unfortunately I have missed their calls but hopefully tomorrow I will be able to catch up with one of them (we are playing phone tag right now.) I will let everyone know how it goes - in my view this is a critical test of their customer service as the first sign is VERY good. (i.e. the fact that I have gotten responses.)
