<<So in my book the near term UPTREND still remains>>
<<So You said on January 13th>>

Yes Charles the near term UPTREND was still intact on January 13th with a close of 4.88 (range H5.22 L4.19 O4.56 V360,100).

I went to a high of 5.97 on January 20th (range H5.97 L5.56 O5.88 V557,500)that was a +22.34% move in just 5 trading days.!!! If it could have kept that "momentum" it would equal +1,161.148% in a year.!!!

The stock on January 29th made a temporary "top" at 5.81 when it was not able to close above the January 29th high.( Range that day H5.81 L5.25 )5.47 V413,800)

That has brought the price down to the 25 day average line. The 10 day average is still slightly above at 5 1/8 and the 50 day average is below at 4 1/4. If the price breaks below 4 3/8 on a closing basis this week it will be breaking the nearest "support" level.

Charles you have to pay attention to the stocks you hold.Buying and holding forever may be good for you, but remember IBM can drop from the 10 week average where it stands today to the 25 weeks average like it did last year (that would be a drop from 162 3/4 to 130 and if it drops to the 50 week average like in 1996 that would bring it down to 108. We don't want even to think what could happen if we ever get into a "bear market" ( Last one I remember was in 1974 and that will be 25 years this June)

RRRR did not do too bad today taking into account NASDAQ 97 point drop. The volume of 205,100 was below the average volume of 269,400 and again the 1/8 of point drop was nothing impressive in view of the general market.

Have a good day (doesn't include a good night).
