Yes, it seems a bit high in hindsight, but keeping in mind this is the 97 annual report and the stock was trading at a lot higher level. I would venture, most would not begrudge G.Faris the same type of bonus if he were able to produce the same kind of stock values for 1999. The annual report for 98 will hopefully show no bonus for the year as his performance for 1998 does not warrant a bonus.
