Frank P. Pearson, you should look at it this way IBM, Lucent, Cisco, Sun Microsystems and etc..all went down after their earnings. None of them had spectacular earnings, these companies even announced stock splits & the stock still went DOWN. What makes you think Dell will be better then all the tech companies that I mentioned above. You think Dell is selling more servers then Cisco. Most of the PC purchased last year was at the sub 1000 range, majority of dell's PC are very expensive. If you think dell is going to beat the whisper# by a mile, then you should sell your house and buy more dell. :0)
