EARNINGS >> never good enough for investors anymore, the stock goes down if: 1) earnings are good 2) earnings are bad The only way stocks go up anymore is if earnings are GREAT, and sometimes even then they go down. I still say wait for earnings, buy on the dip, then hold for e-news. Chances are e-news will come after earnings. vb
