The fact that you don't understand something doesn't make it not true. Or as a Dilbert manager would say: "If you don't understand it, it must be simple."

The only DRAM which can actually make a significant dent in the latency problem is EDRAM, which reads page hits out of an SRAM cache.

My original point was that DRDRAM is not worth any price premium on the motherboard. It will not deliver any performance improvement over SDRAM for system benchmarks.
