I wasn't trying to misrepresent your words. You said it. This all started with a lie you admitted to were you quoted a pole replacing "lie" with "perjury". A perjury is very different than a lie. Americans can believe he lied and still believe he did not commit perjury.

The simple truth that this impeachment is the end result of the Republicans focusing the past 6 years to getting Clinton rather than doing their damn jobs is what the whole thing is about.

Republicans are going to lose support from fiscal conservatives who are socially liberal in the next election. The outrageous statement by Republicans that says "people will forget all this by election time" says volumes. In another way they are saying a large portion of their Republican supporters are just to dumb and will forget. What does that say about the Republican Party? I believe they will lose 20 seats in the house and 10 in the senate. Americans are smart enough to recognize a Coup de tat when they see it and they are pissed. That is why the poles favor Clinton. Hell most of us don't like the guy that much we just hate the Jerry Fawel types that run the Republican Party more. This is what the poles are missing. It is what the Republicans are missing. They are out out of touch. Americans now see the Republicans for what they are. A Party that would turn the country into a Bananna Republic to promote their Theocracy.
