Chronicle Communications, Inc. Completes
Internet Digital Pre-Press Expansion

CAIRO, Ga., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- John V. Whitman Jr., CEO of Chronicle Communications, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: CRNC - news) announced today that installation of high-speed data transmission equipment has been completed at Chronicle's United Printing and Publishing plant in Tampa, Florida. Chronicle estimates a cost saving of 30% and an increase in pre-production capacity of 20% with the addition of the new equipment. This method virtually eliminates the
distance barrier. Chronicle can now attract customers nationwide. The Company owned publications and customers will utilize Internet File Transfer Protocol (FTP) to upload their entire publication directly into the ''Digital Pre-Press Studio.''

Once proofed by Chronicle's pre-press image setters, the publication goes directly to film, enhancing all phases of the printing process and avoiding typical paper photography. Internet FTP and digital pre- press production methods enhance the quality of the finished products and saves an enormous amount of time for the parties involved.

''Our customers will benefit by savings in overnight courier charges and travel time typically associated with pre-production. This is the first step in the true Cyber-Publication. With increasing bandwidth available on the Internet, all of Chronicle's publications can be available in their true printed form instead of a re-creation at the touch of a button,''

Whitman stated. ''This will add incredible value to our advertisers as well as our customers.''

Chronicle Communications, Inc. is a roll up acquisition company. The ''Digital Pre-Press Studio'' makes the proposition of being acquired by Chronicle even more attractive. Being acquired by a publisher with printing capabilities adds economies of scale, profits and exit strategy. With the addition of Internet FTP and the Digital Pre-Press Production, Chronicle can either acquire the leading publication in a desirable geographic area or compete in that market for a fraction of the start-up cost and overhead.

Chronicle Communications Inc., is a fully reporting, publicly traded company quoted on the OTC Bulletin Board under the symbol of ''CRNC.'' The Company, founded in 1996 and headquartered in Cairo, Georgia, is the publisher of the South Georgia Chronicle, a weekly edition shopper paper distributed free to the respective community, and ''The Register,'' the only comprehensive directory of new home builders' inventory homes available in the greater Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. The Register is published 23 times per year with separate editions for Maryland and for Virginia. Chronicle's expansion plans include up to twenty shopper papers across Georgia and the acquisition of existing specialty print products, primarily in the Southeast. Chronicle also operates two commercial web-offset printing plants in
Central Florida. Complete information including links to the SEC's EDGAR database can be found at Chronicle's web site at www.chronicleinc.com/.
