Neither the Nightly Business Report spot or the last article mentioned GLM. Both mentioned DO and RIG.

... That's interesting, since GLM has a LOWER P/E and stock price than the two stocks selected by both of yesterday's media mavens of the oil service industry.

Just for fun, I looked at Value Line's estimates for all three stocks out to 2001. Global Marine was expected to rise 150-200% more than either Diamond Offshore or Transocean Engineering.

Are investors being misled, or are the analysts keeping the best stock for themselves? Time will tell.

If there is a upturn in the oil patch, every stock will be a big winner. Which horse will cross the finish line first is the real question.
