I also overlooked that, in cases such as these (where Guidant has a pattern of violations), it wouldn't surpise me to see the judge offer a 3X 12.9 Million dollars. And that excludes the royalty fees that occur if the injunction goes through, which is should but isn't guaranteed. Although at that junction, assuming GDT would have to pay 40 million, and GSII's market cap is only 60 or so, plus royalties, would a buyout be likely? I mean GDT can avoid a 40 million payout plus get 30 million in cash in the bank plus the technology and wouldn't have to pay royalties. GSI is finally in the drivers seat although some big holders sold on the news yesterday not realizing the judgement and the possible tripling of the judgement by the judge on on the horizion within the next 3 weeks. Which I believe means the next news could rally this a 1 1/2 -2 dollars with the right news.
