Boardtek Electronics Corp. has announced that Intel Corp. [NASDAQ:INTC] has placed a large order with the company for their Rambus PC boards. Twenty percent of Boardtek"s yearly production capacity of Rambus PC boards will be sold to Intel in the second half of this year. Boardtek has been producing Rambus interface PC boards for nearly two years. Most Taiwanese Rambus interface PC Board manufacturers send their products to Boardtek for Rambus validation. AP Acer Technology Inc. and Kingmax Technology Inc. are also major manufacturers in Taiwan that produce Rambus interface PC boards.
