I expected them to either sell, short or short against the box as soon as the deal was done, but what I have heard is that the "deal" was extremely well written and precluded this type of ungentlemanly conduct.

Personally, I expected a method to be found to provide at least partial early exit, but it doesn't look like it to me.
These guys out in Boise are no potato-heads and they had a bunch of stock to get off themselves.
