If you bought in 1968. you got even in 1982, nominally. With inflation adjusted, it was about 1986. That is a bear market.

MB, does this mean you are expecting another 14 year bear market? Another interesting look back at one of the "fluff" stocks shows that if you bought DELL in Jan. 93, you had to wait until June 95 just to break even. The rest, as they say, is history...
