jwk--I picked up the story too. Posters to csy2k have noted that the 600-700 payments that need manual control and correction amounts to approx. a .35% error rate or higher to 7.0% depending on what set of numbers you use (and this has been going on for over a month and they're having trouble keeping up with the problem.) So nice of them to keep silent about the problem so as not to worry anyone. So much for looking to the Euro conversion to inspire confidence. Of course some of us know when the "real" failure of the Euro conversion will occur and the bill comes due for wasting IT resources/time on an event with a arbitrary deadline in favor of an event with an immutable deadline. Please up my order for "happy face" patches to a dozen gross. "flatsville"
