I noticed that the prices for PPro are 200/256K - $500, 200/512K - $1015, and 200/1MB - $2650. If Intel can sell large quantities of SRAM at those prices, their stock price would be justified. It's certainly a lot more than IDT and Cypress get for SRAM!

How much performance gain do you get by increasing the size of the L2 cache? Can a customer justify spending the extra money?
