Anyway, while we're on this MSFT has finally hit the wall talk, I'm thinking back to an article I read in December about MSFT's accounting practices . . .

If the DOJ does eventually succeed (where there's smoke there's fire) doesn't MSFT's reorganization plan basically limit the remedy phase?

I mean the easiest remedy (by easy I mean most likely NOT to upset the US economy's leading $$$ maker, the Tech Sector) would have been to basically seperate the different MSFT divisions and let them compete with each other as well as the world.

This is what Gates is basically doing now no?
