INDEPENDANT VERIFICATION!
I received the following fax this morning from the U.S. & Foreign Commercial Service (FCS), after I inquired last week through the American Embassy in Moscow:
'Dear Ted, Please find below a summary of an article published in the Finansovye Izvestia.
Regards,
Sergey Minko Commercial Specialist U.S. & FCS, Moscow
This article, published in the Finansovye Izvestia (Financial News) on February 9, 1999 reports that Stanislav Yerofeev, a representative of Gosstandart (Russian State Standardization Agency), announced that ZAO Spetsznak won a government tender to supply special holographic stamps according to the decree signed by Prime Minister Y. Primakov last autumn. The decree prohibits sale of liquor, audio-,video-, and computer products without special holographic stamps that are designed to control importation and legal sale of the above mentioned products.
The article says that according to Prime-Tass, a Russian news agency, AZO Spetsznak has already placed an order with Holographic Dimensions, Inc. to produce the stamps. The order is worth $130 million. '
This was a one page fax. The article was not included. I have to go back to work (day job) now, but am willing to fax this sheet to 3 people on this board who supply me with their fax number. I will fax it around noon central time.
What a relief. Happy investing! Ted |
