Dell is finally noticing the trend to broadband? You have lots of confidence in that guy's foresight? 50% of US households have a PC. That's saturation. There are items like freepc.com. What does this say about the PC-MSFT-INTC profitability axis? There are thin clients like STBs. Seems CPQ, IBM, and HP, to name just a few will have to get more competitive by lowering prices. That doesn't help DELL's margins. My software firm has been getting an accelerated increase in ad lit from CPQ and DELL. Unprecedented. Why are they doing this? In the past they would never bother, but something has changed.
If Dell could increase sales to rest of the world, they would. There are US govt. restraints on this. And there is a rising tide of protectionism that will end up putting tariffs on imported goods. This has the effect of discouraging trade, not because the dollar will fall, but because other countries will elect to purchase from the low cost producers. Protectionism makes our goods even more expensive worldwide. Don't know who the competition is? They are Asian, German, and British. They take their production offshore to the third world while ours will be bottled up by fairness. Don't see this protectionism? You're blind.
Since you don't know anything about your soul, you are in no position to say anything about it. You don't even believe in soul, since you are so devoted to money. You only believe what you see and you can't see anything anyway. You think you see money, but it is disappearing as you look at it. You can't see that either. |
