Nice cash flow from the patent suit, and a chance for it to double or triple seeing as how the loser cheated on their patent filings. Nice cash hoard already, consensus is for profits next year, and this $13M is a big chunk of change for a company with a $53M market cap. While Guidant might try and drag it out with an appeal, they are clearly the big losers here and IMHO will not prevail.

OK, question du jour: is this patent award taxable???
