Just wanted to add my 2 cents on what's happening today. I've seen this pattern a lot. The major thing going on here is that Internet stocks, especially Search Engines, are going through a correction. Stocks like WCTI are particularly susceptible to dramatic price swings because they are speculative investments at this stage. I really don't subscribe to the grand Market Maker conspiracy, although some minor manipulation probably does go on.

In addition, I often see big sell off's before some "Big Event", like WCTI 2/15/99 Web Site debut. People are expecting some big upward movement in the stock price after the event. Totally bogus thinking! The current price already reflects this event. People selling now are cashing in on this. I expect the price will probably fall after the event when people don't see the expected uplift. This whole game (in the short-run) is about anticipation.

Folks, you'll make money on WCTI if they REALLY DO have a product and a sound business model. I believe the management is solid and without 100% knowledge I think they do have a product. If I am wrong, then I will lose a lot of money. But I don't think I am. So for this investor, WCTI is a long-term play and I won't sweat these price fluctuations. However, I am human and wish I had got in at $19 and not $26....
