Lady Fox,

You are right on the mark about his business card. A friend of mine was a two-time National Shuffleboard champ. He had inherited a great deal of money from his father's estate (a certain Senator that will not be embarrassed here by me). My friend got involved in the market, and within a short period of time had squandered over $1000,000 and was reduced to near penury excepting a monthly trust.

On this particular day we were playing a game in the Fall Down Saloon for $1000. He had spotted me 10 points and now had the hammer with the score at 14-14...with an easy take-out and stick. Unfortunately, he caught a glimpse of Druss'ss'ss business card that happened to be protruding carelessly out of my shirt pocket. His rock went flying into the gutter and he crashed over our table, spilling about $100 worth of booze. The five of us were extremely annoyed and lost no time in sending him to the hospital.

While he was recuperating in the hospital, his wife wrote me a cheque for $1000 plus another for $500 for "the magical evening". It is funny what a few magic tricks will do to brighten up a woman's day. When I showed her my business card it became evident that they really are a good advertising idea when used in the right way...
