We are going to raise the question very soon. It is Barrick who we are referring to in our GATA press release. You are right they have hundreds of millions in profits that could be booked and put some buying into the market.
Maybe they are planning to do so. They certainly will not telegraph that one, but they are asking for more transparency from central banks ( as so said in their press conference ). We would like some transparency from good old Barrick themselves.
