Interesting article! It could be NBC. Personally I favor Softbank since the poster on Yahoo have built a very good case for them as the corporate investor.

Really, it matters little to me as long as it a large and well respected company--I would not be surprised if there are several companies in competition since IDTC is the acknowledged leader in Internet telephony.
