SoundWorks International, Inc. Announces a Stock Dividend of Four Shares For Each Share Currently Held and New Michael Jordan CD Release
SEATTLE, Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- SoundWorks International, Inc., (OTC Bulletin Board: SOWK - news) -- a multi-media entertainment, manufacturing and marketing content company -- announces that its Board of Directors has authorized a dividend of four shares for each share currently held, effective as of the close of business on Thursday, February 11, 1999.
On the product side, SoundWorks is going into immediate production on two new major releases. The first is a new audio CD, titled ''Michael Jordan: An Audio Tribute.'' Heard on this exclusive new product -- all in their own words -- are Michael, Mrs. Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, David Stern and other celebrities toasting the basketball great.
The second new release is both a CD and Video product titled ''President William J. Clinton: The Great Speeches.'' Highlights of major speeches given by Mr. Clinton during his Presidency are featured. This becomes one more in a series of SoundWorks CDs that feature highlights of speeches given by other Presidents and major world figures, including John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, Winston Churchill, Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr.
A third product -- a video -- is also in production for release in the weeks ahead: ''The Greatest Speeches of All-Time.'' Initial marketing for all three releases will be done via a short-form 60-second direct response television commercial.
Other new releases in pre-production for marketing later in the year include nostalgia music and/or spoken word audio products featuring Jimi Hendrix, ''40 Big Band Hits,'' General Douglas MacArthur and Frank Sinatra.
