There was an interview with Ross Perot (whose company went public last week) on CNBC yesterday. He was a guest at the opening of a business-to-business e-commerce site WWW.orderzone.com owned by W.W.Granger in Chicago and his comments plus that of an analyst in this area believes that e-commerce will be in the trillions - his word, not mine, in a very short time. They also said that sites for business-to-business is underprovided and that it is the area for very real growth as opposed to just consumer sites. My interpretation of these comments, puts Bid.com in a very good position.

I've also read through so many arguments about the financials for this company. Sure they're important, but we are not talking here about an investment like Chevron or Motorolla (companies that have been in business for years). If we applied the same standards of evaluation for these startup tech companies we'd still be in the internet dark ages!! All startups have negative information at first, sometimes for years, that is not unusual because they are putting everything into expansion, etc. A normal process.

What I would like to know (since I'm south of the border) is the status of the sales re the Michael Jordan sound card and any comments from the Internet Conference in Canada last week. It's hard to get a connection in Canada to get this kind of info and no one has commented on this yet. I check into Waldo World but it does not seem to be current on that subject. I think the sound card is a great innovation - Foster Hewitt in Toronto (remember him?) gave some very memorable broadcasts on hockey games and having his voice with a card would be just great. I bought a couple of Jordan cards for my nephews, but I think they are more interested in hockey players. Hey,its a start!!
