Touché, Curt.

I follow DSL closely as I live 40,000 ft from my CO. Deployment of DSL service will expand dramatically in 1999 as the technology to deliver the service beyond the tariffed limit gets installed in the field. Additionally, following the lead of PacBell, a subsidiary of SBC Communications, the all inclusive price will also drop to compete with cable access pricing. AOL will soon have all the broadband access they want over copper.

Query: How come they're not hammering the wireless folks with the same argument?

I am sure as broadband wireless enters the fray in a few years, AOL will be demanding must-carry access over the air as well.
