I have been meaning to try Celebrex, but it hasn't been available until recently. Yesterday, my local CVS said they had some in stock, so I called my rheumatologist and asked for a prescription, his nurse said he needs to speak to me about it before he prescribes it. I haven't read the Monsanto thread posts yet, are they favorable?

Edit: took a look at Monsanto posts, linked to a news group, took a look there, looks like I will just have to try for myself. I am presently taking 800 mg of ibuprofen every four hours, which is a boatload of ibuprofen, and I am still in pain. I don't think anyone will prescribe enough celebrex to match the ibuprofen, and it's not any more effective on pain, says the FDA. But, it won't kill my stomach like the ibuprofen, so any little bit helps, I guess.
