Hi David, I spoke w/Rod Rice CFO BFX on 1/31/97.He says the first info-mercial test(late summer '96)went well. A second test (mid Dec. 96)also went well.These tests are done in small markets to work the bugs out. Stilson and Stilson Direct Inc. is the production co. joint venturing these commercials w/ BFX. They are fine tuning the info-mercial now for national exposure in 1-2 months. They have also obtained a 700K line of credit with a large financial institution. Mr. Rice thought they wouldn't need it, but there just in case. Stilson and Stilson has hired the former V.P. of Healthrider Reed Brown as the new president of Stilson and Stilson. Healthrider was bought out by Icon Fitness which markets Weider products. Part of the delays in production was due to the old president being very busy with ongoing projects. Mr. Brown should speed things up. Mr. Rice stated the cash flow was very good,in line w/the last 4 qts. They are still negotiating w/a firm to prmote the stock in Canada. News releases should be forthcoming soon. BFX exercise equipment is high quality,therefore,more expensive than others. With that in mind,BFX has secured 2 finance companies which will finance individual retail customers enableing BFX to get its revenue from sales much quicker. When I get more info,I will post here.
