Silently "taking profits" from companies that go nowhere or into bankruptcy, all the while declaiming on their long-term merits has a name, has no doubt a number of names; "pump and dump" probably being the most polite.

The fact of the matter is that the touting or research on these moribund companies was done from the fundamental perspective of their long term growth, not from any technically oriented strategy of buying them low (with buy and sell prices) and then quickly selling them as they blip up DUE to that self-same touting; as they're really garbage and not worth holding long term.

You can't refute the names on the short list; not as dogs or as touts.
You can't refute the methodology of the newsletter. The fact that you skittered out of them before their implosion adds nothing. The emperor is naked. A simple checking of always positive posts on SI is most revealing.
