The downturn in the Republican Party is temporary and bottoming out IMHO. We're suffering from a.)bad publicity brought on by Newt and
greatly enhanced (spun) by liberal media b.)The slickest (willy) President ever (he makes Ronny look tong tied) c.)the most liberal media in history.

It's so easy for Clinton to get on his podium and make a feel good
speach, promising to solve everyones problem. There is no direct
connect to what he is saying and what it will cause those listening.
The problem hear is that I think we are becoming such a poorly
educated country that the vast majority of people have no idea of the
ills that an all Clinton/Dem agenda will bring upon us in the long
run.

With Geo.Bush Jr., Elizabeth Dole and other young up and comers gaining more prominency. I have faith in the old Elephant for the
long haul. Of course there are issues that I, and I'm sure many,
take exception to. I'm much more pro-environment than most GOP
constituents for example. But the liberals will lead us to a downfall. Witness the growing liberalism (socialism) in Europe.
