Proletariat has made some valid points in my opinion. He is at least partialy correct in my case. I'm not sure about Mark The Trader (though if you don't buy penny stocks, haven't owned WOOD, have no intention of owning it, why would you even bother reading this thread?). I did not buy WOOD with a 3 yr. outlook in mind. Nor did I buy with the intent to "pump & dump".
I thought Madera would follow through on there initial announcment regarding the web site. I thought and still think that it was an incredably ingenious concept. I still believe had they made better decisions early on, the stock would be $2 or better now and I would be selling my shares to true investor types that would likely relize substantial yearly gains while I would be looking for something more speculative but with larger return potential. Last I checked this was a perfectly ethical investment stratagy.
I'm still baffled at there choice of AIE to develop the site. The decision to announce the site before it was up is suspect. I have a good idea of the price they paid for the site and a fair idea of what a quality site of this type and size should cost. This knowlege leads me to believe that Madera did not investigate what type of web developer they needed and judgeing by what they paid AIE (as of about Jan. 10) they bargain hunted. Someone argued that they are cash poor right now and that is why they hired a cheap development co. Give me a break. I know they dont have alot to spend but this is one area where they obviously couldn't afford to be slack.
IMO this type of decision making has done significant damage. I understand the site has significant improvements today (VISA). The price doesn't reflect it. People are mistrusting Madera now. I hope the land deal comes through but simply dont trust it. I'm not a guru investor and as I stated before I've been wrong often. I do have solid information regarding the interaction of Madera, AIE, and the web site. Some would argue that I put to much emphasis on the web site. Maybee but the graph shows me that the increase in price coincides with the web site PR and the decrease began and continues with further disapointments stemming from Maderas' blunders.
We need some significantly posotive news to boost confidence. I still have hope for WOOD or I wouldn't be here. I may even add to my position if we see steady results on the web page and the price comes down a little more. I try to state the truth as I see it. Im interested in all opinions regarding the content of this post. I type like mollassas, spell like a 1st grader, and compose equaly sub par. Don't bore me or other readers of these posts with comments to this affect. I could take the time to run through a spell & grammar check but I'm not applying for a position in your company and this is no Fu Fu gentalmins club.
This is the last time I will defend my motives or my right to misspell. When I post again it will either be with a question that I hope to get answered, some significant insight that I believe to be usefull, or to respond to the content of something I've read.
