Lynn, I used Dean Witter many years ago, when that was the only way you could "invest" in the stock market...The broker I got specialized in churning and recommendations of questionable stocks Dean Witter was unloading (They undoubtedly all worked the same)....It's much harder for them to steal your money now, if you are still using a broker...I have no use for them..Thank God for online trading!!!!...Merrill Lynch and the other big financial houses are good if you have millions invested through them...If you are small time, they will take your money and still screw you as if you were one of us unattached street urchins...Just a theory....
