I've tried all variations.

I have two computers going, with independent modems. My LII feed is independent, so I don't use Datek quotes.

I have Datek open on both computers. On one, I am on an express server through the daSlinger interface.

On the other computer, I have a classic server window open.

I have tried opening messages, portfolio, daily activity, open orders in every combination, on one or both computers. Chinese water torture. Tick, tick, tick, tick, while you watch your position slowly melt from profit to loss, and you still don't know where you stand... executed? for how much? safe to enter counterorder? You get the picture.

And it's not like I'm slow on the uptake - right after I see the screen "clear" meaning the order went through, I click on a confirm page (usually daily activity, but I've tried messages, open orders and even portfolio). I've also tried to do the following: I let the order go through, then count down mentally to what it feels like it should be the execution time (though on a liquid large volume stock, this should be 3-5 seconds, I sometimes give it 10-15) and only THEN, do I try to go to the confirm page. An obligatory 2-3 minute delay every blessed time.
