Not even God could show you the light. Plod forward in darkness. One day the reality of how and why things happen in order to make profits will hit you. @home is already restricting the size of video downloads. Bandwidth costs billions. So do major highways. That is why they have tolls. You don't get to ride for free. Development of technology used to do things better than they are done, has and will be part of the game. Unfortunately, the world doesn't work that way. If it did, then I probably wouldn't be using Windows. Lots of ideas don't make it because the technology doesn't match the business or strategic interests of the users or providers. You do make a great point. I bet Paul Allen is buying up cables and ATT is buying TCI so that they can deliver free movies through the internet. Maybe one day you will see the light and pull your head out of that hard drive it is stuck in.
