To Robby Heinemann I've just read thru all the replies. There are two sides to a wall. Their annual reports & the book "Supermarket To The World" present Dwayne O. Andreas & ADM as saints - working around the clock to save Planet Earth from certain starvation. Critics sing a much different song, saying that spending mega-bucks for contributions to polititions (a.k.a. as bribes) price fixing, and seeking subsidies are some of their main pursuits - things that hurt the very folks they profess to help. One critic wrote that Andreas reminded him of the story about the young boy who killed his mother and father and then ran to the county trustee's office to get relief because he was an orphan! By the way, since you're here in Food/Agriculture you might click on my new subject - THEME RESTAURANTS - THANK YOU
