Jim - the announcement was staggered between buildings but I believe th first was at 3:30 central. The press release, as I understand it, will be made early tomorrow morning. The stock will be halted and delisted. Frankly I expect that anyone holding shares will have a nice tax write off next year, there will be no payment to shareholders by any acquiring firms. The assets will be sold off, and the shareholder will get zilch.

While I do think the company will be more attractive in chapter 11, the thing that really pisses me off is that I believe, and this is IMO only, that the parties that will end up buying the company are already known and that they strung Telegroup along to get them to this point. Anyway, my mood is declining rapidly so any analysis from me at this point is worthless.

BTW, and this is off the top of my head, the debt/asset ratio is around 1/1 - maybe not quite that good, but I really doubt that it is better. Maybe somebody can offer up some real number for us to work with.
