1957 summation chart has been posted at Monty's site. The horizontal line at the bottom is the summation level that we bottomed at in October 1998. Ostensibly, it was a 4 year cycle bottom, after the previous cycle bottom in 1953. The summation failed on the market's recovery high, at around -200, and then a sharp drop below the previous bottom ensued. The pattern now looks strikingly similar. In addition, we are at a similar point in the 23 year cycle - 15 years after the 1942 launch of that superbull, and 17 years after the 1982 launch of this superbull. Vitas.
