Red Scouer & Night Rider, Here is the TA for CPQ.
If you remember my last TA was not very bullish. I said that short term trader may want to sell their shares. Technology stocks have reached a short term top in general. The NASDAQ reached a short term top on 02-05-98 when it closed below its 20 dma(Day Moving Average). The next support for NASDAQ is around 2200. CPQ also has reached a short tem top on 02-04-98 when it closed at 45 below its 20 dma. Yesterday and today CPQ closed below its 50 dma, a negative sign. The next support levels for CPQ are 40 and 35. The internet AMEX index closed below its 20 dma on 02-05-98. Currently it is testing its 50 dma. If it closes below it then that would be very bearish. This index actually effect NASDAQ quite a bit since it has a lot of weight in NASDAQ. This index may be undergoing an intermediate correction which means more to the downside is coming. CPQ closing below its 50 dma means that it has entered an intermediate correction.

In general, the correction may continue for a while.

Good trading,

Christopher
