I don't get it??? After looking more into SHRP Sharper Image to see if I should increase my stake in them before the Feb.22 debut of their auction site, I find news which said they had lower earnings than expected.. "...Sharper Image sales down, comfortable with views SAN FRANCISCO, Feb 4 (Reuters) - Sharper Image Corp. (Nasdaq:SHRP - news) on Thursday reported a 4 percent decrease in January same-store sales and said it was comfortable with analysts' earnings estimates of $0.45 a share for 1998. Sharper Image earned $0.07 a share in 1997..." EXCUUUUUSE ME!!!!!!! What is this, they earned 45 cents a share and people are complaining!!! Compared to many other stocks selling at multiples way greater than SHRP, this shows incredible good business success. I'm getting more convinced that if this is the BAD news, I think I might want to take this company more seriously. What does anyone think will happen as the date of the auction site approaches.
