One of the things that many people don't get is how can so much overwhelming evidence, such as that presented in the OJ & Slick cases, be so flippantly disregarded? Justice in today's society is a bastard.


First, I think there are many differences between OJ and slick.

Second, After watching the videotape testimony that BillyC gave, it was clear to me that, though he may have lied in "spirit", he did not lie legally. BillyC repeatedly went back to the definition of sex that was given to him by the opposing lawyers and they confirm the definition. And by that legal definition, he did not have sex. It is a technicality, but when he said "it is not my job to make sure that they ask the right questions", he is absolutely correct.

Starr screwed up. This doesn't mean that Slick isn't a slime and that he doesn't deserve to eat my table scraps, but I believe that he is on legal solid ground (no I am not a lawyer). When Slick says that he didn't have sex with that woman, he is referring to the legal definition that was he was given. The Reps are unwilling to admit that their man (Starr) dropped the ball when they were so close to nailing him to the wall and I believe that this is what will be their downfall.

The pity is that it is clear that neither party is even trying to pretend to look out for what is best for you and me. They are too busy trying to do what will benefit their respective party the most.

I am thoroughly disgusted with both parties and as I suggested in my earlier message, neither will likely ever see my vote.
