Mang, Craig, Joe, et al, The most logical investor in 3com at this point is..... ta ra ta ra, you guessed it, 3COM. A buy back by a cash solvent 3COM right now would accomplish a number of things and be a smart financial move to boot. I don't want to buy the Eric is a blithering idiot story so often repeated on this thread, particularly during the admitted all too many recent bad times. He knows that if you get the reputation of a streetwalker, it's tough to become a high priced call girl again, unless you can buy into some respectability. The purchase would also preclude COMS from working for a pimp not of its choosing. Please whisper in my ear I'm right, Eric; not "hey sailor, wanta dance?" - Bill
