Re: Speculation by the likes of me?

The Underwriters and Perot Systems FAIRLY priced the stock at 16. I was able to participate in the IPO and got my 100 shares from Schwab and am grateful. Ross talked up how great his company is and there is nothing wrong with that. However, all of these frickin speculators are bidding up the stocks MUCH TOO FAST. If a stock comes public at 16 and trades over 80 two days later, doesn't anyone find this a little too much??? I feel if an IPO doubles the first week it could be considered to trade in a "fair" range. However, anything over that is just froth and anyone buying at those prices had better be either a long term holder or have a real quick trigger finger to get out before the other speculators do.

Happy Investing.
